Other information:
Nicholas was the sequestrator for Bridport Division of Dorset during Commonwealth. His will was proved in 1661. His wife Elizabeth was the sister of Joane Wolmington the wife of his elder brother Thomas.
John, the second son of Nicholas, married Priscilla and had two sons, Thomas, Nicholas and three daughters. The youngest son Nicholas later inherited six hundred pounds whilst the eldest son Thomas became a Doctor of Physic and was heir to Holditch lands. He married Ursula Cox, daughter of Rev. Peter Cox of Chaffcombe and their son Thomas inherited the Holditch lands c1710. However he began to mortgage them in 1722 and the remaining interest in them was sold to pay debts an his death in 1746. He had married Joane Minterne daughter af Rev. Henry Minterne of Chedington. There were no known children and none emerged at sell-up of the estate.
